gaHowl
What is it?
gaHowl is the integration of the Zeroconf protocol into gaim. Zeroconf
is commonly known as "Rendezvous". With this protocol addin, we hope
that Windows, GNU/Linux, BSD, and OS X users can communicate in a room
using gaim without having to be connected through the internet.
What's Howl?
Howl is an implementation of the Zeroconf standard/protocol. Howl runs
on all of the platforms we listed above, so all that really needs to
happen is the merging of the lib into gaim.
